Think about the declining highways and bridges and overpasses across America.
As time goes on and we as a nation stop using so much fossil fuels in our vehicles on the highway system and the infrastructure will suffer because of declining revenues collected with lesser consumption.
But all is not lost!
If some of my previous ideas are adopted such as power production via solar panels, wind, hydrogen fuel cells and all other forms of "home household energy production" which allows for extra energy production above the normal usage by 25% to 35% average thus allowing this production of excess over usage power be taxed at a rate of 0.03% per kilowatt hour of generation and placed in the highway trust fund.
As more of these "home generation systems" are in place, the income generated by the overall production would be felt all across the lowest income level population first, then spread across the mass spectrum of everyone and insuring the stability of at least 2 major infrastructures inside the United States of America pertaining to the power grid and the highways etc.
Are we in a position to ignore what is happening all around us? ..... Can we simply ignore all of the facts emerging about global warming? ..... Can we as "Americans", not afford to fund the absolute newest technologies emerging around us?
These are but a few questions looming out in the world. I don't have answers to all of the questions but in my previous posts I have outlined several singular and integrated plans featuring solar and hydrogen fuel cell technologies.
Until now though, I have not thought past the placement and duration of the outlined plans in the other posts. Therefore, I am attempting to outline how these plans would help everyone starting with the lowest income earners. If solar alone is used the length of time to reap the revenue from the tax collected would be directly impacted by the number of existing units (households) that are producing at any given time. Also, considering emerging technologies such as the hydrogen fuel cell with some modification could be integrated or used as a stand alone system because the fuel cell has its supply of fuel from hydrogen and oxygen stored in tanks while the solar systems require sunlight to produce at peak efficiency. When capacity of both sources of tax revenue coming only from the usage of 'over normal' consumption each month, the difference is added after paying the 0.03% tax and personal consumption is removed from the tax due ledger, the balance is then put into the highway trust fund that would benefit considerably allowing for investment into more and smarter roadways in the future.
