What can we do to deter the credit card companies from charging us the high interest rates and persist in slapping up with outrageous late fees? The one thing that we can do to make them change in more ways than one is to totally boycott them. If we try to not use them at all for at least 30 days, we may just be able to start making a difference. Credit card companies are multi million dollar corporations. Millions of us across the world need to forget about using them in order to make a dent in their daily revenue. If we unite, our actions will be felt far and wide. Perhaps then they will think about changing the many "policies" they have that work against the consumer and only for the credit card company. Right now we have no voice.
There seems to be nobody on our side. Our government is just now taking a look at the unfair practices of these companies. These unfair practices have been taking place for decades and nothing has been done. Day by day, the credit card comapanies are earning millions just with the money they charge us in interest rates, late fees, membership fees, overlooked double charges and overcharges. The credit card companies are totally in control when it comes to taking our hard earned money. Then, we face tumbling credit scores if we fail to give them what they want--that is automatic with no way around it and no negotiating. What kind of business is that? That's an exploitation of consumers and their money. Only we can help eachother!
This nonsense must stop now! We work way too hard for our money to "give it away" to million dollar companies.
