The economic situation is getting harder and harder each day for the average American family like us. We are having to make decisions on driving somewhere or buying groceries. We are barely keeping our heads above the water and it feels like the government isn't there for us.
That little economic stimulus check was long gone before it even got in our hands. We have 4 children and I am in college and it is so hard to keep up. I personally feel like our government is letting us down. All I hear is how they are trying to help and they are going to do this or that but I don't see anything happening.
I think that if some of Washington's politicians were having to struggle like the average American family then we would see real changes and really fast. Hey, Washington, I have an idea... why don't all of the politicians give up 2 months of pay to give the American families another economic stimulus check.... or make the gas companies give up 2 months of profits and give us a check. That would certainly help us. And I am sure that we would start seeing some changes.
I don't mean to sound harsh, but as a struggling mom of 4 who is trying to go back to school to make things better for my family, I feel that harsh is what we need. If some of you politicians and oil companies had to give up some of your money to help us then I am sure we would see real changes happening really fast.
