Is global warming really killing our planet? That's the question that needs to be answered. The United States as of today is the leader in co2 emissions and is not making much progress. Flights per day has not gone down, Hybrids are not popular at all and there are barely any solar and wind power sources. It is recommended that when you buy a house or plan on upgrading your house you should put solar panels. At first they would be on the negative side of money but after a while you will be getting paid by your electric company. You will be self sustained with energy that you will be giving energy back to the other companies. Also when getting a new car, it's recommended to buy an Asian made company car. They are better with gas mileage and they cost less money, for the most part. The only American made car that is really making changes is GMC. With their new hybrid cars and better gas efficient cars they are taking a stand against global warming and making our earth a greener place. Here are some ways to help the environment and save some money while you're at it.
- Carpool with friends and neighbors to events and or work- This will be saving you money and those traffic filled car rides will be a little bit less stressful
- Take public transportation- this is putting less co2 emissions into the air and for ever person who does brings down the co2 emissions
- Plant trees and vegetables in your yard- This will make the air around your house cleaner and the more trees the more oxygen being put back into the air
- Use less water- Instead of taking a 10 minute shower take a 5 minute one and don't leave the foset running while washing the dishes or brushing your teeth the less water used the more cleaner water there is
Just by doing some of these easy things you can help make our world a better place and have a healthier lifestyle.
