Have you ever thought of many of our today's scientific achievements, is actually a trade of many innocent animal lives? It is pretty adamant about the fact that the sacrifice is a nightmare to the world of the animals. Also, it does not take too much stretch of the imagination to realize how sufferings the animals would be to live under the stress, panic and frightened just to fulfill the human needs in inventing the so-called scientific products.
The scientific foundation that supports any inhumane researches by incurring pain on animals are regarded as methods to raise human life in terms of health, beauty, living standard and lifestyle. In fact, the sufferings that animals have to bear are no different from the human if human were treated cruelly in a similar way as animals had gone through.
Those who believe that animals are born to be treated cruelly for experiments or laboratory purposes are people who have no benevolence towards living things. Are those people doing this for humanitarian or just to defend their careers? Which one?
Whether you agree or not, human scientific research is indeed such a terrible to think of here.

In 1985, this animal was rescued by the Animal Liberation Front (ALF) from the riverside city of the laboratory of the University of California. His eyelids were sutured and his head were fitted with sonar devices when he was rescued.

This dog was roasted alive in the city hall of the hospital in the United States in order to test the result of burns.

This cat had its head implanted with electrodes. Cat is used widely for neurophysiology experimental material as scientist believes that cat has a brain similar to the human brain.

An autopsy of the cat's head was being immersed in the solution of formaldehyde for the experiment of the vocal organ.

This dog was terribly hit repeatedly by the experimenter with a hammer to test for a resultant psychological oppression. During the experimental process, the dog was test without any anesthesia or medical treatments and thus the dog had to bear on countless inhumane torturing.

This photograph shows that electrodes were implanted in the brain of the chick. This chick was raided by ALF from the Paris National Institute that dealt with the research of rare diseases. Later, French Animal Rights Organization, Aequalis announced the human cruelness on animals to the world. Although there were no penalties incurred upon the experimenters, the president of Aequalis put in endeavors to urge the animal rights that violators shall fine 15,000 US dollars and sentencing as well.

Heavy and iron chain was used to tie a gorilla that will soon be used in a surgical experiment.

This gorilla has just gone through the surgery experiment. From his facial expression, it is not hard for us to imagine how pain he is.

This is a temporary “refugee camp” for animals before the real experiment is being held.

This monkey had the electrical device put in his head. He was used to test the state of the brain after experiencing electric shocks.

A rabbit was sacrificing for the skin test in order to manufacture cosmetics.

This animal had been jailed as if a long-term prisoners in a small cage, making it mentally ill and disability and thus causing it to eat his own feces that he mistakenly regarded as food.

The fixed devices were attached to the rabbits for the purposes of experiments. The tested materials were rubbed all over the eyes and the skins of the rabbits for several days, until their organs experiencing necrosis (accidental death of cells).

A cat was firmly fixed in the fixed device for the brain experiment. He had to go through the pain and sufferings as anesthesia was not used. From his dull eyes, we can understand how he feels his endless pain.

Being held firmly in a fixed container with body inside and head outside, the primate often has to undergo a long-term imprisonment in such a cruel way, and he could neither move a single inch nor scream out for help.

Electrodes, pipes and other metal instruments were permanently attached to this animal skull in the test named by London's Institute of Neurology as Enzyme-Linked ImmunoSorbent Assay, or ELISA (the infected medical material impact on the sensitivity test. The ELISA has been used as a diagnostic tool in medicine and plant pathology. It is a biochemical technique mainly used as a sample in immunology to detect the presence of an antibody and antigen.)

An experiment had been held on the eyes of the cat.

This is a dog with his brain being removed for the research of the brain and nervous system.

The limbs of the monkey were fixed firmly within this scientific device. The device was invented by Dr. Taub for him to do neurological experimentation. Later, Dr. Taub was incurred sentencing for his cruel treatment of animals while doing experiments. Nevertheless, he succeeded for a court appeal which enabling him to free from punishments. His experiments were mostly violated the jurisdiction act of protecting animals from being abused cruelly.

This rabbit was sacrificing his life for the experiment of scabies.

One of the dogs was purposely caused to have human-induced cirrhosis (a consequence of chronic liver disease characterized by replacement of liver tissue by fibrous scar tissue as well as regenerative nodules) on his liver for the purpose of the experiment.
These are the sacrifice on behalf of the human technology. Because of their weakness, human takes their rights for granted. So many animal lives have been sacrifice in the name of science and technology.
Whenever we take medication to maintain our lifespan, how often do we think of those dead animals that were sacrifice during the experiments?
Whenever we enjoy looking ourselves in front of the mirror by putting up beauty and cosmetic products all over our body, how often do we think of the sufferings animals had to bear on?
Have we ever thought of the glory achievement of science and technology is actually a trade of the ugliness and sinful of human that has been abused the animals badly?
