Mother or Slave?

Read this awareness article on how we treat mother earth today!

Do we really mean what we say and pretend? We burden the earth by growing vegetables and fruits in different seasons than in which they grow. We try to change their natural color, their actual size, we try to make them grow fast, and we try to make them sweeter e.t.c. We pollute the air, throw garbage without even caring!

We dig and scrape the earth. We put artificial nutrients as if making up a false ugly face. We take away its clothes and cover of plants, trees and foliage and make buildings, roads and flyovers. We choke it with garbage, plastic and toxins and expect it to breathe and provide us fresh air.

Would we ever treat our real mothers like this? These acts are not exploitation but molestation of Mother Earth. We have changed the actual earth into a weak, female slave, expecting it to sacrifice itself for our comforts and needs.
