We all know that most power plants are run by coal or oil. And this is not helping anything or anyone. What we need is a way to get people power that doesn't as much, or anything at all with little to no effect on our environment.
This year the government made a government coupon that gives every American $100.00 off a digital converter box. They spent over one billion dollars on this. One billion dollars on television when there are people without health care, with bad jobs, and getting thrown out of their homes. Need I continue, do you see how stupid they are getting to be?
I would make a government coupon that actually helps people and our society. One helping people use more environmental and overall budget friendly energies. With some help from the government, to get things moving.
The average cost to equip your home with solar panels is around $10,000. There should already be a government coupon for this. It would save everyone a lot of money on their power bills. And stop harmful pollutants from going into the air.
Many of you might be thinking of the job losses from this, putting most power plants out of work. But you haven't thought it through. You see, power plants would invest their own money into solar and wind energies, if anything creating more jobs.
While at the same time, companies that manufacture solar panels and windmills with be more in demand from the consumers buying their products helping keep those jobs and add even more as more solar panels sell. So going green is also good for the American economy.
We mine and burn too much coal. Coal is good for refineries as a way to melt metals and other materials. But for home energy it's a waste. It's not sufficient enough and it's bad for the environment.
But you don't have to mine the wind. You don't have to mine the sun for energy either. This is why we need to move on from coal and oil power plants. We need a $1000 coupon on all home and business solar panels and wind mills, making the people who jump on this train in charge of their own energy intake and output. Giving them more freedom.

Germany is now the leader in solar power. I believe almost one third of their nation is powered by solar energy. They have there what are called "solar farms". This is basically a large land clearing filled with solar plants that harvest energy and not food goods.
A lot of Europe has wind and solar plants for their people. The world is ready to step up in alternative energies. And as the economic leader in the world we need to answer the worlds' call and step up to the plate.
By three years after this coupon, I can see America as the leader in alternative energies. And we'd have more high paying jobs and not only help the environment but our economy as well.
This is the kind of movement and inspiration we need in America to stay globally competitive and help save the planet we all enjoy sharing. We may not enjoy all of each other's company some times but we all live here and have an obligation to throw in a hand or two.
If we all work together, we can have affordable and efficient energy and take a step closer to being an eco-friendly nation and above all, planet. But we need more then to get America moving, China, India, and Japan need to get their energy standards together as well.
It's not America-warming it's global-warming. China is the most polluted country in the world from their no-limitations-industry. They can manufacture whatever they want using whatever they want no matter how much damage it's doing to the planet. Pollutant clouds came over to China into California. So now their dirty habits are directly affecting us here in America. They need to be shown a way to change or be forced to change their harmful ways.
