These days there is a lot of talk about “Going Green”. For some, it seems to be rather overwhelming with the already fast paced lives we live in. Yes, we need to take care of the Earth, and we want it to last. You can do something to take a role in saving our Earth.
If you feel inundated with all of your daily responsibilities, start slowly by adding one new habit into your routine at a time. Here are 9 things you can do to help the environment. Use this is a check list. There is no specific order; however, this is what I did start going “Going Green”.
- Recycle bottles, cans, newspapers, and plastics.
- Switch over to Eco friendly laundry detergents.
- Reuse your bathing towels.
- Hang up clothes instead of using the dryer (I only do this for some things).
- Use bleach and ammonia to clean bathrooms and kitchens.
- Recycle plastic bags.
- Better yet, purchase Publics grocery bags for $1.00. Keep them in your car and use them instead of the bags at the store.
- Donate items or sell items in garage sales that could be reused.
- Use the other side of paper instead of throwing it away.
