Plastics are Killing Us Softly

Plastic will take a hundred years to die out naturally. Burning it will eradicate living things slowly. How then are we going to address this problem?

Going to the market is already a part of our chores. And this is where bags or anything of that sort plays a great role. One common fact is the use of plastic or any kind of bag that is made of plastic.

Plastic is widely known to emit toxic compounds when burned and will take hundreds of years to die out naturally because of its high molecular content. And since plastic is the most widely use, how are we going to address this kind of problem?

Before going to the market, be sure to carry with you an environment-friendly bags like those made of papers, or reusable cloth-made shopping bags, or load your grocery directly into your car.

How about the wet items?

Highly recommended are bags made from coconut leaves and those made from natural components. A wooden “buri” bag will do a lot of help. How nice isn't it?

Needs Lot of Compassion

Try to look at our surroundings, no place is free from plastic. Yes, it's true. If we are deeply concern with the future of the next generation, never-ending compassion to our environment is needed. And this is no joke. The generation we are deeply concerned with are the ones doing the proliferation of these “killer” “stuff” (plastics).

Start in the family

For us to heal this sick world, let's start in our own family. Proper management of waste particularly the plastic should be properly addressed to by the parents to their children.

I know this is a repeat of what the environmentalists are saying. But as a concerned mother not only of my six children but of the world, “We can expect the same friendliness, if we are serious to be a friend to our environment”.

450 years to be exact before plastics can decomposed. Lets do the the 3R starting at our respective homes... Reduce , Reuse and lastly let's close the loop by Recyling things.
