There are very few pandas left on Earth. This rare, majestic creature has been on earth over 3 million years. We have mimicked the panda in many toys and used it for symbolism. It looks like very cuddly bear. The panda is also very important in Chinese culture, but pandas are slowly becoming extinct.
First off, what is a panda? A panda is a small creature that
has white fur with a few black splotches. They tend to
live alone. The average life span of a panda is from 20 to
25 years.
They are able to give birth after 4 to 5 years. Pandas don't have many cubs, only 1 baby every 2 years, and the babies have to be taken care of for 6 months to 1 ½ years. We are also destroying the only food pandas eat, Bamboo. There are only about 600 to 1600 pandas left in the wild.
The whole reason pandas are dying off is us. WE destroy their homes, WE hunt them. WE are the only ones that can bring the pandas back. Stop expanding into the panda's habitat. We need to protect more land and make more bamboo to keep them alive. We destroyed them lets make it our job to bring the panda back from the brink of extinction before we lose it forever. Without intervention our children and our children's children will never know what a panda is other then a cuddly little bear they bring to bed with them every night.
