It seems everyone wants to go green these days. It's really a good idea. Not only does it save you money, it helps save the earth. Here are just a few ideas on how to “go green”
Hybrid Cars
These cars can run on two or more fuel sources! With gas prices these days, it pays to buy one of these cars.
Use Rechargeable batteries
Something as simple as recharging batteries helps keeps the landfills from the poison contents (mercury, cadmium, ECT.) that leak from batteries. Plus, you'll never be hunting for batteries again!
Use Cloth Bags for Groceries
Next time you go shopping, take a cloth bag to put your groceries in. Some stores are even selling them cheap for their customers to use instead of plastic bags. It saves the landfills from being filled with plastic that takes years and years to disintegrate.
Use “Green” Light bulbs
These energy saving bulbs may cost more to buy, but they last a lot longer and save you money in the long run.
Wrap Presents with Newspaper or Paper sacks
Try using the “funny pages” for wrapping. Or, get a brown paper sack and create your own design. It's fun and no one else will have the same wrap as you!
