10 Ways to Remember People's Names

If you have trouble with remembering someone's name, then one of these tips might be right for you.

  1. Repeat their name right away.
  2. Think of someone else you know with that name.
  3. Connect their name of some unusual feature-hair, height, eyes, nose, and mouth.
  4. Write their name down.
  5. Make a rhyme out of their name.
  6. Ask how to spell a name that isn't obvious.
  7. Ask a friend for that name you forgot.
  8. Glance around a room and drill yourself on everyone's name.
  9. Decide it's important to remember the name of everyone you meet.
  10. Or simply say, “tell me your name again” if you forget by the end of the conversation.
