Here's a list of do's and don'ts for bus behavior. |
Similarities:- Have your bus pass or exact change ready for the driver when you get on.
- Wait for people to step off before trying to get on the bus.
- Don't use seats for your backpack or packages if the bus is crowded. Keep them on your lap.
- Offer your seat to someone who might have more difficulty standing than you.
- Take care that your backpack doesn't swing around hitting people behind you.
- Don't horse around at the bus stop. Wait quietly.
Differences:- People waiting for a bus tend to queue up. That means they from a line. If there's a line, get in it, and wait you turn to get on.
- If all the seats are taken, move to the back of the bus to stand. This will make room for others.
