(Yes that's the truth, it is not just a green day song after all.)
For many Hollywood hopefuls they find quickly that it is often a long and treacherous road.
Still many more who go to Hollywood with big dreams and stars in their eyes never make it.
For them,Hollywood boulevard may be a dead end road.
The craving for fame and fortune has beckoned many generations from many walks of life to leave their comfort zones and set out in hot pursuit of a dream. Years ago, The California gold rush pushed prospectors, dreamers and thieves in much the same way.
For many people, the cost is greater than the reward. As in the days of the gold rush California still beckons, only now it is with the lure of a different kind of fortune, on the movie screen.
Glitter & Glamour may be enticing, but before you answer Hollywood's beckon call, remember not everything that glitters is gold.
