Change Your Life With Positive Thinking

You are what you think. think positive for a happier life.

Do you seem to repeatedly get into the same kind of situations like bad relationships, money problems, unhappiness or illness. Have you ever wondered why? You may not believe it but you can do something about it no matter how hopeless you think your situation is.

Thoughts are a form of energy and so are our beliefs. Because positive and negative energy both play a major roll in our lives, what we think and believe decide how we will live it. To think positively is to feel positive and when you feel positive your life is happier.

We live in a stressful time. Juggling work, home, family, money problems, relationships, etc can take a toll on us. That is why it is important to learn how to deal with stress to stay healthy and keep a positive outlook on life.

Organize your time. You will find that life is easier to deal with if you take the time to plan ahead. Make a list of your daily tasks and check them off one by one as they are done. When you create order in your daily life, you will most likely find you have more time for each activity without rushing to get things done. If the need to rush is eliminated from your daily life, stress levels go down.

Exercise. Just a half hour walk a day will help lower blood pressure, lower your risk of heart attack by 30% to 40%, boost good cholesteral, improve sleep, and lower stress levels.

Smile. Smiling actually increases the production of the hormone serotonin so smile and smile often. It will boost your feel good hormone and you will be surprised at the happiness you can spread with just one smile. Sixteen little facial muscles can cause a contagious reaction that everyone will be want to catch.

Expect good things to happen. When you honestly expect good things to enter you life, you are using a positive thought in the ultimate true manner.

Worry is a negative thought. If you dwell on what you don't want to have or don't want to happen, without knowing, you are putting negative thoughts into your mind. Get rid of them and replace them with positive thinking. That whatever you may get or want will be taken care of in a positive manner. How many times have you thought or worried yourself right into something you did not want? If you think honestly, I am sure you will remember something. I have heard people say many times, I was afraid this would happen or I knew this would happen. For some reason the majority of us tend to dwell on the bad or unfortunate occurrences in life. We are glad for the good things but we don't seem to dwell on them like we do when something goes wrong. We seem to slip into a negative thinking mode without even realizing it. When you catch yourself thinking about how bad your life is, stop and turn it into something positive. Tell yourself there is always room for change. Don't blame others for the pedicament you are in. You are the one who put yourself here and you can get yourself out. You are what you think, so think good thoughts and know you have the power to change your life.

I have been working seriously on negative /positive thinking for two years, taking each negative issue separately. I've tackled exactly 4 subjects in two years. I continue to work on them and make myself aware of any of them sneaking up on me. Now I'm working on the way I use food to balance my emotions in life. Of course this has made me overweight which is unhealthy, and my goal with all of this mental work is to make myself mentally and physically healthy. I'll be 55 in October and I know that I'm headed for what can be the most difficult years in life. I want to do all that I can to give myself the strength that I need to make these years a good as possible.

I agree with your article. We need positive thinking. Some days I will not watch the news because they talk about cancer too much. I listen to other people's problems, but I talk positive with them to give them hope. When they take my advice, it makes me happy to know that my advice worked. It brings me hope also. Sometimes I need someone to help me too. Sometimes the negative beliefs that we have is what we get. But when we pray and bless eachother thinking positive things, the positive will happen.

I really enjoyed reading your article. I have been trying to work on positive thinking. I was really pessimistic when I was younger. I still can be sometimes, but I am working on it.
