How Much Time Have You Got?

Do you know your priorities?

Busy as one must be; Have we ever thought of how it is going to be if we do not get the chance to see our loved ones tomorrow? No one really knows if we tomorrow or even later we will still be alive to greet them or say the things we never take time to say.

A lot of times we take things for granted because we put them aside for the next day. It's a Saturday...your children wanted you to play with them and take them out to the park. Do you get up early or say : "Can we just go next week end? Mom / Dad is really tired." Sometimes we are even more insensitive when we say YES and NOT GET UP AT ALL... Are you so busy that you do not have time to call up your parents or write a note to your sister or brother ? Or even send a text message letting them know that you think of them despite your busy schedule. Are you not aware that your best friend has stopped calling you or is not that sweet anymore ? Probably because you have not been paying attention to her like you use to.

Life is short my friend. Take time to smell the flowers. You don't need to spend an entire day with them. Just a little quality time will do. A simple note; A short call, a short message will make a big difference. Think about it. It's not that complicated and time is not really hard to manage. Just know your priorities and learn how to make up for any lost time.

Make it a habit to say thank you to God in the morning;Say I Love You to your husband and children before starting your chores or heading off to work. Send your friend a text message or email her/him a line or two. Is that too hard to do and heavy to ask of you? I am sick and I know that anytime will always be a crucial time . I have learned not to take ANYTHING for granted. To love the chores I do for the family and to take comfort in the endless sermons my Mom gives me. Taking hatred out of my heart and replacing it with understanding and compassion not just for the people close to me but for those who have hurt me as well. Now, there is no more room for anger and fear...I have to make the most of what I have now and Thank God that I am still here.

You do not have to find out you are sick to do the things mentioned above. It's your call; your time..do as you please...i just pray and hope that no regrets will be made in the end...

A point well made,we need to all take heed in the things in life that are important to us. They may very well be here today and gone tomorrow, but there is never enough time in a day it seems to get it all done. You can never replace what you have or have not done or said for that day so why not just do it then cause you don\'t get the chance to redo that day again ,thanks for the words of encouragement.Have a great day.

Hi sp,
Thank you for the comment. I am happy to hear that my words are encouraging. I realized that saying I love you and putting off what could be done today for tomorrow is important. Procrastinating will bring us no where. I have a heart ailment and every second is important to me. The doctor said that my heart could snatch my life away even when I am just asleep. Time is gold for me now Living for the moment is my goal.Every day , I thank God that I still have life and still hug my children.Have a Blessed Day.
