Hello, this is my first article; I chose to write about tips for getting a job.
This is for the average 15-18 year old who wants to get out and earn some cash. Personally, it's not that difficult getting a job, its just preparing for it that's a drag.
To begin with getting a job you will need a State I.D, if you do not have a driver's license, this can be obtained at your local DPS office. Be sure to bring your Social Sec. # , Birth Certificate, and your school report card of some other school records to get it. Also bring 15$ so they can make it right there. Now go and make a few copies of your birth certificate and social because many jobs do background checks and may ask for a copy. Finally you should be ready to go hunting for a job.
First thing you need to do is, when applying for a job, don't just go to one place, put out applications all over the area you wish to work in. This will greatly increase your chances of getting a job. 2nd, when filling out the applications, write as neatly as possible and don't crumple or rip up the paper, some managers take special note of these things as a reflection of you. 3rd, for interviews, maintain good posture, eye contact and come happy and appropriately dressed for the interview. This will at the very least assure your interviewer that you are not some slob out for some work.
Follow these steps and you'll be sure to land a job soon with minimum hassle.
