The arguments that I mean are more like sports arguments and maybe movie, art, etc. However maybe some of the tactics mentioned in this article could be used in any argument.
BELIEVE IN WHAT YOU'RE ARGUING -
You may be able to hold a better argument if you believe what you are saying is correct.MAKE YOUR OPPONENT ANGRY -
Making your opponent angry could help you win. However it could also make him less likely to give in. When your opponent is angry it could cause him to stop thinking logically and maybe cause him to forget valid points.GET IT ON PAPER -
If you have your points on paper or on a chart it could be harder for your opponent to challenge it.USE NUMBERS -
Numbers can sometimes be harder to argue. Maybe use things like stats or percentages.BE A MIRROR -
Instead of using all of your best points out front, try tiring out your opponent if he keeps using his good points. When he says something try to fight against it one point at a time until your ready to send a good point at him.GET YOUR OPPONENT TO SLOWLY AGREE -
Give good points slowly and try to get your opponent to agree with them. Then if he agrees too many of your points you might have a chance of winning.TRY TO PUZZLE OR CONFUSE YOUR OPPONENT -
A confused opponent could be easier to beat.HAVE TIMING -
Good timing can be very important. Try to know when to stay defensive or go offensive.
These have been some ideas to help you win an argument. You should probably try to not loose relationships over arguments. You may try some of these tips, all of them, or some from other guides or whatever helps you become a better arguer. Good luck.
