Know Yourself
It is a cliché, but it is very important. Knowing one's strengths and weaknesses are very important. You must determine in what field you will excel and capitalize on that strength. Do not waste your time in a field that you know is not your passion or interest. You will just become frustrated Be honest with yourself.
When a person loves what he is doing he will not give up if the going gets tough; he would even exhaust all means just to stick with his profession or calling. When he is working he will perform well because his talents and skills are fit with what he's doing. He will enjoy every minute of it as if he is just playing. He will continuously improve and people will notice that. Then, everything will follow.
Do Not Make Money Your Motivational Factor
Yes, money can motivate a person to do a task but it should not be the be all end all of things. If for instance, you grab the job offer just because of the attractive offer time will come that you will quit because that is not really what you want to do. And if another company offered a higher salary the possibility is that you transfer to the other and another. The thing is you will not be able to establish anything.
Be Positive
Positive people attract positive things. If things turned out the other way, it's ok. Pick yourself up and think of another way to achieve your goal. An optimist sees opportunity even in difficulty. A person who always sees the glass as half full will go places.
Discipline
No matter how good a person is if he lacks discipline he cannot achieve anything. Make a plan and execute it. Use your time wisely; always arrive on or before the time in your appointments. Learn how to control yourself; you must know when enough is enough it terms of financial management, time management, etc…
Be Humble
Treat people well in your everyday transaction. Do not under estimate people because you are better than them or richer than them. You will attract good things if you build good relationship with people. Do not forget those who helped you when you are just starting up because they are the ones who will stick to you even if you are not rich.
Seek for God's Guidance
Remember that everything in life is given by God always seek his help in everything you do and you will be well guided.
