Lost Your Get-Up-and-Go? How to Get Your Groove Back

If you feel like life is one long drag these days and you've no energy for anything, these tips could help you get revved up once again.

Learn to Relax

Many people lacking va va voom are exhausted by the demands of their lives because they never get a chance to relax. Although it's easier said than done, try if you can to put aside a minimum of ten minutes a day where you do absolutely nothing other than something that pleases you; whether it's chatting on the phone or sitting in the sun with a good book.

Stretch it Out Baby

Stretching encourages oxygen to rush round your body, bringing with it fresh energy. Practise stretching out, starting with your toes and working up your body bit by bit, focusing on the wonderful, boosting effect it's having. Learn yoga for an even deeper benefit.

Exercise Every Day

It seems ridiculous to suggest if you're tired you should be exercising, but the benefits of increased fitness levels will soon be felt by you if you go for regular walks, even when you don't feel like it. Also try cycling, jogging and tennis and watch your energy return to what it was when you were a young slip of a thing.
