Maximizing Your Forty's

Letting go of the past and pressing toward your future. Learning from past mistakes.

Those of us that are truly ambitious are always learning. Learning for us is an attitude, habit and a way of life. You learn to turn your problems into (something positive) investigations, and crises into opportunities.

When you are learning you discover new ways to approach the unknown, the uncertainties, and you desensitize your fears in life.

Learning helps you gain increased comfort with newness everywhere in your life. When you are engaged in the art of learning, the changing world around you bothers you less.

Knowing how to move you around the stages of change is like being fit. It empowers you to be at your best all the time. The formula is: Hold On, Let Go, Take On and Move On.

Hold On:

To what is valuable in your connections to your surroundings. Hold to what is working in your life.

Let Go:

When you have being doing something for so long it's hard to let go. In order to reach your destiny you will have to let go of bad relationships, dead end job, etc., things that are not meant to be a part of your future. Let go of what is not working. You cannot take on new directions until you release excess baggage in your life.

Take On:

New skills and resources for creating the next step of your life. Taking on involves learning and training. This is an invitation to awaken more of yourself and to take advantage of the world surrounding you.

Once you analyze and set things in order in your life, then you can move on to new directions. You will then find yourself at a new beginning. You are well on your way to "becoming a better you".
