It is absolutely true that things do not come easy; rather, we have to work hard and strive to achieve our goals. Although many may say that working hard and looking at every detail are a waste of time when the job could be done in several minutes, the work is always done better when time and effort is put into it. There are many reasons why this is so. One main reason is that a person must work hard to achieve result. A person who is lazy and doesn't do work will not achieve the same results as somebody who is particular, energetic, and who works hard. Working hard is a habit that people must have in their daily lives. Working hard is the key to success. A great example of this saying is with school work. Suppose there is an art assignment and one boy spent all night painting his piece of art with small, neat strokes with the other rushed through his with long, messy strokes. Obviously, the boy who put his time and effort into his painting would achieve the best results. This shows that a person receives better results when he/she works hard and strives to reach success.
By working hard to achieve success, a sense of self satisfaction is obtained. For instance, if there was a science fair competition and one student bought his project while the latter worked hard and produced an excellent science fair project, obviously that student would have more self satisfaction. This shows how true the saying is. Not only would a person achieve success, but also self-satisfaction.
Lastly, the saying is true because a lazy person will never achieve success. They must work to be the best. A great example of this is in our environment. People always talk about the environment, write books on it, create shows about global warming , climate change, etc., but society must do something to make a difference. Although awareness will be raised, nothing is being done, so there will be no result. In order to make our environment a better place, people must work together as one and take a big action.
Thus, without pain and struggle, there is no gain or result. Although many people think that they can achieve result by being lazy, this is not true for a person who works hard will always get better results than the latter. In conclusion, people must always work hard to achieve result and determination an d effort are two traits that all human beings must work to apply in their daily lives.
