Problem-Solving Experts

How to find a problem-solving expert.

If you have a company and/or an organization and you need a problem that needs solving. Let's say the people in your company and/or organization do not understand the problem, pretend they don't, or just can't come up with any solutions at all that are understand and agreeable, then you can hire experts at solving the types of problems that you have.

These experts are very much like the Nanny on the Nanny shows, except they are experts in your area. You can find many of these experts online and/or in publications that lists experts in different areas. Some of them are consultants, therapists, etc.

You can meet with these people, discuss the problem, and ask if they can help you and/or your company and organization to solve the problem. These can be problems with personnel, problems with the media, business problems, ethical problems etc.

You might talk to several of these experts.

How do you know they are experts?

First, they must have credentials that you find acceptable to you.

They must have helped others solve similar problems.

If they state they don't understand the problem, then this lets you know immediately that this is not the appropriate person to work with you. An expert in an area like careers who continuoulsy tells you they don't understand what you're talking about, and this person is supposed to be an expert in that area lets you know that this is not the expert to work with you. Maybe they truly don't understand or maybe they just don't want to work with you, for whatever reason.

First, you must find several experts to admit to understanding the problem.

Then they must help you and others to come up with practical solutions that are mutually agreed upon.

In addition, everybody has to trust this experts expertise. If people don't, then that person cannot be very helpful.

Again, the Nanny shows provide an example. Some of the person freely follow the Nanny's advice, others challenge her expertise. She appears to be able to help both types. For those who freely follow her advice she is able to help. Those who challenge her expertise, she must prove to them that she's an expert, and then they follow her solutions and find that her solutions work.

This is another important point. The practical solutions must work. This is how the people know. The solutions work.

Therefore, you must have an expert problem-solver who understand the problems.

They must come up with practical, and workable solutions that everybody agrees work.

Of course, there are many problems that are not so easily solved as the Nanny problems, but there are many experts who can come up with workable solutions. For many of these problems, of course, there can be no guarantee, especially when you're trying to solve problems that appear impossible, as some problems.

First, in problem-solving you set possible goals first.

Let's say you want to help an African village in poverty. What's a possible goal for you. You might have some glorious ideas and ideals for that village. What is possible first? Set possible goals that can be fulfilled, so that you are able to say these solutions work.

Everybody that wants to help that village decides what is possible for that person, so that you are not setting an impossible goal that goes unfulfilled. What is a possible goal for you?

This is true of everybody, not just village, and every type of demand that is being made upon people. What is possible for you as a goal? Not another person.

There are many who witness these great actors for example. They want to be great actors also. If they don't achieve that level they believe they are failures. Maybe the best first goal for them is to set up their own local theatrical, and become the best actor they can be in tat local theater. Practice. Practice. Practice. Every now and then they try out for some work in TV and/or the movies. But their center is the local theater. They perfect their skills as an actor. They do the best plays. Perhaps they make videos of their performances. Is this is an achievable goal for them they do this. They teach others actors. Perhaps if they don't become the "great star," perhaps another taught by them in their theatrical groups does achieve the great role. Very good for them. Maybe they are a better actor, but don't have the charisma or the X factor. This other actor does. Nevertheless, very good for them that they helped in nourturing this other actor. Very good for them.

In business what are the possible goes. Maybe you want a company like Amazon.com. What is a possible goal for you, based upon your talent and resources. Maybe you start with a small bookstore, achieving goals that are possible for you and your workers. Do your very best, try to make the best small book store you can make. Maybe you have clients that appreciate your small book store better than Amazon.com. Maybe you can invite writers to give book signings and to teach workshops. Try to make your small book store unique and different. Maybe your small book store might become a famous small bookstore in the area. You set a goal that is great for yourself.

Maybe you have a small pizza place. Make the best and most unique pizzas. Maybe you're the only Vegan pizza place. A small pizza place making the best Vegan pizzas. Set goals that are possible for you. Maybe you decide to write a Vegan pizza recipe book that becomes a famous book used by many people. Set goals that are reasonable, practical, and affordable for you.

This is the nature of practical, goal-oriented, problem-solving.
