If you think about, smoking is the probably the most ignorant thing we can do to ourselves without being a complete psycho. Many people THINK that Nicotine gum is going to help people quit smoking, when in fact, all it does is make you want a cigarette. You taste the nicotine, you feel the nicotine, but nothing is being inhaled, and that fact gets on alot of people's nerves.
The best way to quit smoking would probably have to be to quit cold Turkey. Wanting a cigarette is all in your head. If you don't want to smoke anymore, simply don't pick up the cigarette. It's that simple, YOU control you brain, habits don't. You have the option of what you want to do anytime of the day. So to say "I can't stop smoking" is an excuse. I personally wouldn't like to quit smoking, I enjoy the taste, and it makes me feel relaxed after I haven't had one after a while.
Overall, smoking is bad, I know I'm being hypocritical, but hey, who isn't?
