I have been struggling much these days with an internal battle of pain and confusion that has been a part of my entire life. We all must deal with learning how to accept ourselves, how to be better people and how to really grow from the lessons we are shown everyday.
I do not like ever to give too many details as to why I am going through what I am going through. But, when I do struggle I do my best to turn to the wisest people of our time. The wisdom found in words of gold.
Here are some that were very helpful to me today:
"Take fast hold of instruction; let her go; keep her; for she is thy life." Old Testament, Proverbs 4:13
"As long as you live, keep learning how to live." Seneca
"Teach him (your child) to live rather than to avoid death; life is not breath, but action, the use of our senses, our mind, our faculties, every part of ourselves which makes us conscious of our living. Life consists less in length of days than in the keen sense of living." Jean-Jacques Rousseau
"Be a good listener. Your ears will never get you in trouble." Frank Tyger
My best wishes and blessings to all.
