Have the right attitude. Having the right attitude is important. Right attitude is the right feeling, the cool not uptight feeling. You feel good that no matter what everything is going to be alright. The right attitude is optimistic, not pessimistic.
Pray. Commit yourself, and desire to God and ask for His leading all the way, in your thoughts and actions and to make all circumstances right for you and for his glory.
Seek for the good of all concerned. Here you want to be sure that that your goal is not just a selfish I, me, and mine only goal. See how all concerned will derive one benefit or the other.
Be sure of what you want or need to achieve and why need to. Now there is the need to be sure of what you need and why you think you need it. If you can provide an adequate answer to why to think you need or want it, as well as differentiate between it being either just a want or a need, then you will be sure if it a goal worth pursuing.
Know your final goal. Be clear in your mind exactly what your final goal is. Let it not just be a happen stand. Write it down is clear and simple language of understanding.
Seek how to reach the goal(s). Now that the goal has been clearly established do the necessary research of different ways to achieve the goal, seek help from experience people. Determine the best way for you out of your various options.
Break your final goal into steps. Having determined the best option for you in the pursuit of this goal, the next step is to break it down into smaller goals or steps.
Prioritize, step by step find out what you need to do to get to the next level. Now you need to arrange the smaller goals in order of priority. Know which little goal must be achieve first.
Have a plan of action the net step is plan. Plan what to do and how to do it.
Have a back up plan. Think, what if I fail? What will I do? Do I need another plan? Or do I need to improve on the first plan? How can I do it better?
Find a lead. You need a guide, a lead, a mentor, an encourager, Someone who has dine something similar to what you are trying to do, or has experience in other areas or just someone with a “bigger “ faith or life experience than you. Someone you can talk to, bounce off ideas on. No matter what do not forget the ultimate one -God!
Be consistent, do not give up. When time of discouragement comes, hold on do not give up easily.
Evaluate, review and effect necessary changes. It is important o evaluate yourself from time to time, to see how you are doing and areas where you need to improve, and or make changes.
Always do your best, avoid procrastinating. Do what ever you can now and today if you can. Learn not to be putting things up for later time. You are not so much in control of later better than you are in control of now.
Avoid worries and negative thoughts. Yes worries and negative thought s will come, do not dwell on them. Think and dwell on the positive.
Get enough rest. It is good to rest, take a break, and get your energy renewed. Take it easy. Create time for play and other things. This will help you to maintain a balance and give other possible insights.
Be grateful and thankful. You are what you are and achieve what ever you are able to by His grace. So always be grateful and thankful no matter what
Be helpful those that needs help around you. Take the focus away from yourself and be aware of other needy people around you. Not needy as in helpless people, sometime yes, but just being nice and helpful to others.
See yourself at your final destination. Think and act like you are there. Act like you already got it. Calling those things which are not as though they are!
Be grateful and humble when you get there. Remember it is God that gives us power to get there. In Him we live, move, and have our being, so it is a privilege.
