Thinking back I am reminded of the friends that shaped my character for life. Together we embarked on endless adventures that took us places beyond the reach of reality. We refused to write the final chapter and saw no end to our imagination. We built palaces and discovered uncharted territory with nothing to loose and everything to gain.
We went against all odds and conquered our limitations with pride and honor. For once in our innocence we practiced what we preached. Just a sheer thought developed a map for the quest of a lifetime. Limited supplies symbolized our faith and the sweat dripping off our heads showed desire and ambition. We could be or do anything we wanted. We walked the canvas of God's greatest paintings and found treasures beyond our expectations. Our discoveries will forever be our favorite memories to recall and reflect upon.
We as adults need to remember the secret to life is discovered through the eyes of a child. I believe in our years of “responsibility” we loose sight of that which keeps us young and innocence. True achievement is sought through the imagination of young hearts. We will never truly obtain the title of “Master,” we are all students of life. Perhaps we should reflect back and remind ourselves we can still dream our own reality.
