Through my not-so long experiences I have seen that, in order to get something done right, it has to be done with effort. There are many examples that prove this. For example; a house. I live in one of those new subdivisions were the houses are mass produced and what not. Already I see them falling apart. However, a house that has effort put into it, seems to last longer, a house that has more invested into it sells higher; etc.
Cars. Cheaply made cars usually end up being recalled, and in today's world, cars have to be made by machine, but the company tries to save money using cheap parts. This is why a car will have all four tires just pop off in the middle of the freeway.
But look at life itself. If you don't work hard, and don't apply yourself, what happens? You become poor and miserable, living in a run down apartment in the inner-city, living off of food stamps and Medicaid. I think its true that our people are lazy and that is because they simply have been spoiled. As Americans we have so many opportunities and freedoms that other countries only dream of. And we spend it only to get fatter, lazier, to make ourselves comfortable while the rest of the world suffers. America has a Great potential for becoming a country that will lead the world in technology, education, healthcare. But we don't tap into the unused resource of people, basically people are too free to do what they want and most choose to do the wrong things. Many of our future greatest minds live in poverty, with poor school choices, and despite their brilliant minds, they will be subjugated into crime, gangs, violence, when they could have become famous scientists, or inventors and help this country out of the hole its dug itself into.
