We all at one time or another suffer from the “I'm Not Very Good At This” Syndrome. That of course, is when we do something and it does not turn out that great. It could be for many reasons that we do not do it well. One reason may be that we really do not like doing it at all. Either these are words have been uttered by us or someone else. There is hope; and there is something that can be done when this instance arises.
Practice. True, some people may still be better at doing the particular thing better than you do, but that does not mean that you can't do it. The words that must be followed in this case is that “The word Can't isn't in your vocabulary.”
It should be second nature to us that whenever we have an obstacle before us, like not doing something well, that we seek to overcome it. You will always have your gifts that you are naturally better at doing better than others do because they come to you much easier. Nevertheless, even the things we are not very good at just require a bit of practice.
For example, if you are not very good at baking and want to become better at it you practice baking, and you read and follow the directions. If you do it, enough you are eventually going to get it right. You may also need help, and there is nothing wrong with asking for help. The most important thing is that you keep trying.
