The Power of Setting a Good Example

Ye shall know them by their fruits.

Our Lesson for today is on the power of setting a good example, Your life is your Testimony, for some, your example is the most influential one they'll ever see. If you are spiteful and angry, those for whom you are an example will likewise be. If you are compassionate and caring, again, those for whom you are an example will likewise be. The question is, which will you be then?

Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks, and in the tongue lies the power of life and death. What is meant by this is, your words will either be a Blessing, or a curse. Positive or negative.

Either way, they will impact somebody's Life, for better or worse. I pray my life be a blessing to others, may the words I speak be inspiring, and may each person reading my pages or listening to my voice recieve something of value from it. I pray that the lessons I share will be instrumental, always in a positive manner. Thank you all for reading, and I pray that this gave some food for thought.

Last, but not least,I hope you can apply the message in this lesson to your daily walk. So many these days say one thing and do another, this is sad. I think if we aren't putting into practice what we teach, then all our speech is in vain. The most influential examples are the ones people see, will yours be one of lasting value, or just dust in the wind?

Hi Jupiter...This is a great reminder, especially to parents of young children. We always set great examples for our children, and sometimes it was very difficult. But our rule was always God first, then family, then school or work, then play. It helped us raise three wonderful, productive, well educated, and nice children who are now fully functional adults. I hope you publish this in a widely circulated magazine. Nice work.
