I've heard it for years and it finally sunk in, how to get what you want in every area of your life! I thought I understood this thing I was being told but I didn't get the fullness of it until a few nights ago. It is so easy and yet people who have been doing the opposite of this will have to retrain themselves or practice it so to speak. Ok, ok I'll get on with it…
I am pain free.
I am debt free.
I am healthy.
I am wealthy.
I'm a successful creator, author and artist.
Want it, say it; believe it and then receive it.
I know it sounds too easy and if it is that easy then why doesn't everyone do it? You're probably saying If that's all there is to it then why am I still lacking in my finances and why do I have this pain or that sickness that I can't get rid of?
I'll tell you why. Read that last part again and slowly this time… WANT IT, SAY IT, BELIEVE IT and then RECEIVE IT. This is faith and faith is what it takes to have what we want. Let me explain this better.
Hebrews 11:1 says “Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.”
What is faith? Substance. What is faith substance of? Things hoped for (things we want) In other words Faith is what brings to into existence the things that we want. And Faith is the evidence. What is faith? The evidence. Faith is the evidence of what? Things not Seen. Faith is the proof that things we don't see are real.
Ok I know that's deep and kind of confusing so here's something a little easier to understand.
Mark 11:24(New American Standard Bible)
says “Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.”
Mark 11:24 (God's Word translation) That's why I tell you to have faith that you have already received whatever you pray for, and it will be yours.
Mark 11:24 (King James Version) Therefore I say unto you, What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Matthew 17:20 (International standard Version) He told them, "Because of your lack of faith. I tell you with certainty, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, "Move from here to there," and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.
Faith is something that you hope for and believe you have it, it may not happen immediately but it is on the way. If you have thought negative thoughts for years it may take just as long to reverse those thoughts into positive thoughts that will bring it to you because when you have had the habit of thinking negatively for so long it is going to take time to actually break the habit and start thinking the opposite way.
It's like a train rolling down a track and then suddenly the engineer realizes he's going the wrong way and has to come to a stop before turning around. The train has momentum built up so it's going to take some time to stop the train. Then he has to back the train up to where he can be in a position to turn it around and that too is going to take some time but at least while he's backing it up he's going in the right direction. He will finally get to where he's trying to go but it will take a little longer than it would have if he had just gone the right direction in the first place.
When you can think and say positive things and not doubt what your thinking and saying, then you are believing, that's faith and that's when you will receive it! And even though it sounds easy it's really not as easy as it sounds. The slightest negative thought about what you are wanting will slow down the process. So when you catch yourself thinking the slightest negative thought, turn it around and make yourself thing the positive thought. Eventually it will be a thought that you believe with no doubts.
For years we have heard people telling us what to believe, what they say is truth but I'm telling you I think most people don't really know what the TRUTH is. Jesus is the truth. People say that all the time too but do they really understand what that means? I didn't for a long time. Jesus taught faith. Faith is the truth! Faith is what brings to life those things that we think and say.
