Think Yourself Lucky

How you can change your luck and have more success in life. You can turn your fear of failure into good fortune.

If you think of life as a lottery, do you consider you have a lot to gain, or do you despair that you can never win? It all depends on your attitude. An optimist will think they have a good chance of being lucky. A pessimist will see no point in hoping for better things because they think they will always have bad luck.

Life, of course, does not differentiate quite so clearly between winners and losers. Most people can expect to experience good fortune and some misfortune in life.

If you do think yourself unlucky you can start to change your luck and find that good things do happen to you. What is required is to develop a more positive outlook.

There is really no such thing as good luck and bad luck, but there are many chances and opportunities available to everyone. If you never take a chance because of your negative attitude, you will miss out. Someone who thinks they are lucky will see a new challenge as a piece of good luck, or as an opportunity to make a change for the better.

If you always think of the worst thing that can happen, don't let it prevent you from taking action. Be prepared for the worst outcome, by giving some thought to what you should do if it does happen. Don't spend time thinking of the inevitability of bad luck. You can turn your life around by visualizing the positive advantages that will take place if it all works out well.

Never think you are destined to fail. There is always a chance you will attain the rewards you seek in life. You will not succeed until you accept that.
