Like the postal service, every person seems to be in a hurry about something one way or another. The postal service has to delivery in a timely fashion. It may be the same with dating. With dating, there is a time, the packaging has to look good in order for it to be kept, if you don't like what's inside, the package can always be sent back.
One the job, a person has to do things correctly or they will get fired. First dates are always stressful. If something isn't done correctly or to that person's liking, you won't be seen again. You have time to get yourself together for the date, check yourself over twice and walk out of the door. By the time you get to the car, you once again check yourself to see if you look okay. There is a dress code at work so, don't you feel obligated to look your best on a date?
You do not have to go all out and wear a shirt and tie unless it's a black tie event. Wear something casual and clean.
Is your hair in place, your teeth clean, breath fresh? These are the things that a few people have on their minds when going out. You concentrate so much on what you look like that you just don't get the opportunity to enjoy your date. On the job, you concentrate on doing the job in such a perfect fashion that you forget that it could be a job that you really can enjoy. We all look at the shoes we have on a person's feet. From head to toe, you must be clean or the job is lost or the date is gone.
There was a statement made which said that you can tell a lot about a person by the shoes that he wears. Are your shoes clean? Meaning, you have to be prepared on what to expect on a date. It may go well or it may not go well. The person you are with may not feel the same electricity you do if you are into that person. There is nothing wrong with a bad date. You learn by doing and observing.
There is no need to stress about what the other person is thinking about you on a date or pressured to have that date if you don't want to go. You may just be missing out on the delivery of a lifetime.
