Start with a clean face. My face is free of oil, dirt, and any other makeup.

Apply moisturizer. I prefer Olay complete, I've been using it for 10+ years

Here's what I look like after it's all rubbed in:

Apply your preferred lip balm, mine is softlips.

Make a silly face. Marvel at how crooked my nose is :-P

Time for foundation. Currently I use liquid, I'm allergic to the leading mineral foundations out there. However, I'm anxiously awaiting an order from Everyday Minerals (bismuth oxychloride free). For the time being, I use Maybelline pure makeup liquid foundation.

Concealer. I'm using a Covergirl concealer stick, and for best application, I always use a concealer brush. I apply just a tiny bit to the redness around my nose and to my under eye are.

Not a lot, just enough to make me feel better.

Set your foundation and concealer with loose powder. I'm using the Ulta Minerals finishing powder. It came with their mineral makeup kit, which I can't use the foundation from, but at least the finishing powder is worthwhile.

Now we're on to actually applying color. I start with my eyebrows and work my way down. Currently for my eyebrows I am using the dark brown eyeshadow out of the e.l.f. Brightening Eye Color in Butternut.

Now let's apply some eyeshadow. I am going to use one of the cheapest brands out there, Love My Eyes by Bari Cosmetics. I think this quad pack ran a dollar or two. First I apply the lightest color all over from my lashline to my brow.

Then the gold shade on just my lid.

The chocolate shade in my crease.

Looking a bit odd, time to blend it together.

Now I need mascara of course. Maybelline Great Lash, which I always seem to go back to no matter what else I try. Today I'm using blackest black.

To be honest, when I'm working, I usually just leave it at that. But occasionally I do go ahead and apply lip gloss. Today, since it's what I found, I'm going to use a Bon Bons chocolate flavored gloss a friend got for me a while back.

Make another silly face and marvel at my nose again...

Done!
