One of the worse crimes of all is the sexual abuse of a child. I write this from experience ,because a child from my family has been a victim of a sick person who has committed this crime. Let me start by saying I will never forget or forgive what has been done to this child. Her life has been changed in away that should never be. She will remember and always recall this horrible thing that has been done to her. From an child who was top in her class to a young adult who is in and out of mental hospitals, and the person who has committed the crime walk are streets as free as a bird. My one wish is this individual does not committee this horrible act again. Most people who do committee this act will do it over and over again. So why are legal system seems to be so easy on these sick people I will never understand.
After fighting this act in court for several years I have come to realize the
Fairness of the legal system seems fair to the wrong person. After ruining not only a Childs life but those also close to her and receiving a sentence of one year does not seem to me fair to the victim at all. To me there is no worse crime then hurting a child . We are to protect are young and keep them safe, so to hurt a child is unforgiving . Not only has this act caused her mental problems, but to forget was has been done to her she now fights a drug problem. There have been many times I wish for this act to happen to someone in this persons family, but then come to realize another child would be ruined for life and the thought of that brings me back to my senses an once again to hope he never does this to another child again.
I hope in time that this victim will conquer the problems that this crime as caused her and knowing she will never forget but learn how to deal with what has happen to her is a wish I will always have , and know when the person who has caused all this damage to not only her but her entire family will pay for this crime when he meets his maker. Protect your young there are many out there with sick mines that have no feeling for the young of our society and no feelings for hurting them.
