A group of criminals and or hoodlums who band together for protection and profit is known as a gang. Gangs are all over the world and are very popular. They are mostly known for their initiations, fights, and colors. Gangs and the violence they inflict have been around ever since about 1969 and continue to grow here in the United States. They infect everyone even without knowing who they are. Many schools forbid they're students to wear specific colors, clothes, and carry specific items with them to school. This all occurs because of the trend and dangers that are being set for young, innocent minds to see, attempt, and fear. Gang violence in the U.S. is dangerous to those around, it is unhealthy mentally, and it goes against the morality of the U.S. citizens and should be stopped as soon as possible.
Gang violence is dangerous to all and should be illuminated. What should be done is the government should provide and apply a harsher punishment to those who allow or cause gang violence to occur. People should be arrested, tried, impersonated, and or jailed. There are plenty of "gang bangers" walking and driving the streets. They are in neighborhoods, stores, and even schools. If the government would work on the safety of the people and punish the ones who do wrong, then all would not have to look over their shoulders for every step they may take. Consequences for criminals and their bad habits should be at large and nothing should be tolerated.
Gang violence inflicts unhealthy damage upon anyone near. This damage can be physical or mental. Both damages are not good for anyone and often cause saver health problems. It first starts with the unhealthy lifestyle of a gang member and then spreads like a virus to their group, friends, family, and then eventually it becomes nationally. This should be stopped and can be very easily by simply forcing the gang members to do time in some sort of institution where they can seek and receive help for their problems. This way violence is minimized and the gang members are getting the treatment they need to lead a healthier and better life.
Gangs and the violence they conflict upon others go against all morality of the United States and the residents. Gangs have no morals and never intend to create any. Bad morality says that it is wrong to hurt, kill, and steel purposely. To stop or even minimize gang violence there should be counseling recommended and provided for anyone who needs or requests it. Counseling should be provided for free as a part of some community service hours for the criminals and victims at hand.
In conclusion, gang violence over time should first be minimized and then eliminated all together. It is unhealthy and has no moral or remorse for anyone it surrounds. Jailing, community service, rehab, and counseling are just some actions that should take place. Perhaps more armed forces on the streets would help the situation at hand. Gang violence has poisoned the minds of the young for years and continues to grow and do so to this very day.
