Mental Health Patients Abused at UK's Most Notorious Jail

The abuse of certain inmates at one of Britain's top prisons from an inside source.

The wings at HMP Wakefield, Britain’s most notorious jail and home to child-killers such as Roy Whiting and Ian Huntley, are home to a great many individuals with severe mental health issues but, rather than keep them in the on-site hospital where they can be appropriately medicated and professionally monitored by trained Health Care staff, they are put on the wings and left largely to their own devices. Once on the wing, they regularly forget to take their own much-needed medication or, if reminded to collect it from the dispensary, many of them choose to sell it on to other inmates for tobacco or sexual favours.

An inside source tells me that this means not only are these disturbed individuals not getting the regular care and attention they need in order to remain stable and safe, but that other more manipulative inmates are getting a regular supply of mind-altering psychotropic prescription drugs.

As the inmates with the severe personality disorders are taking less medication, they become more disruptive and have to be moved back to Health Care for their own safety. Once there, they take their meds, they stabilize and, after a few weeks they are carelessly returned to another wing where the whole unnecessary cycle starts again.

These dangerous but troubled individuals are regularly victimized by the bigger inmates and one particular muscle-bound meat-head, we’ll call him ‘Danny’, was even removed from his job on the food servery and the wing because he was offering extra food rations in exchange for oral sex. He’s now pretending to be a Buddhist in the vain hope that his new found faith will earn him an early release.

Sexual favors are actually a big currency in Wakefield and one inmate, ‘Mark’, is rumored to be HIV positive as a result. Inmates are constantly having sex with each other but the authorities, rather than try to stop them, are actually giving out condoms! One inmate, who was so sexually promiscuous that he was the willing participant of a gang-bang, had to be transferred recently for his own safety when he threatened to “name names”.

What a site, sponsored by the red top tabloids no doubt!
All inaccurate quotes and simply a load of tosh

Actually, 'Intheknow', all my information comes from a very close friend who is an uinmate at Wakefield, and he is an incredibly reliable source. Besides, I haven't quoted anyone, so how can the quotes be innacurate. There are none so blind as those who WILL NOT see!

Obviously your inmate friend must be telling the truth - he is clearly a credible source of information...am sure that he must feel very aggrieved by the misery of others.
