Recently, a close friend of mine lost her dad, the day he was to be given to mother earth, I heard her saying that death is part of life, but after the funeral service, she came to me personally and guess what she said ''I wish death was not a part of life''.
This is the same experience thousands of people face everyday due to the death of their loved ones, but they have forgotten the promise of God which says that he shall redeem our soul from the power of the grave; he shall receive us when we die. Future life have been made possible after death on earth by God, because in 1 Corinthians 15:26, it is said that the last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. So why worry, panic and be heart broken. Our loved ones have only gone into a better place, where there shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast devour them but they shall dwell safely, and nothing shall make them afraid.
Remember, the gift in which God has given us is everlasting life through Jesus Christ our lord. He gave his only son, and vowed that whoever believed in him will not perish but have everlasting life. Now imagine the pain Jesus went through for us to have eternal life, he serves as the only human that could give his soul as a ransom for all of us because he did not inherit sin from the world like we do, this is made possible because his birth was ordained by God and he was given birth by a virgin. By been the first human to be conceived by a virgin, and he willing to sacrifice his life for us, all what was lost by Adam was regained back.
Interestingly, you and I can be partakers of living forever, if we honor, fear and dedicate our life to God, do not forget that laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, they have laid hold on eternal life. So instead of just sitting down there, weeping over a loss of a loved one, get up and move on with life positively. For most humans who have passed on, death is not the end for them; there truly exist a more rewarding, fascinating, great life after death. Life after death is not an illusion of mine but the will of God.
