Death is something nobody can truly explore while living, so people have made theories, and relied on religion and other customs. Death is something that was never proven or disporven by science. Here are five possible things and beliefs that can happen when you die.
- Ascending to a heaven or hell (Christianity): This is a very common belief in our society. The heaven is believed to be a place where "good" people go to and hell as we all know, "bad" people are suppose to go there. It is believed that in order to ascend to heaven you follow the ten commandments, which is described in the bible, and if this is true, a majority of the people in this world would go to hell. Heaven is a place where people believe that the "good" people that followed the ten commandments would go to, as they enjoy for the rest of "eternity" and hell is the complete opposite, people suffer forever there. You get the point.
Science still hasn't proven that because we still haven't seen the rest of the universe and other crap in this world. - Reincarnation: This is believed by many Hindus and Buddhists. It is believed that when you die, you are born as another living creature, which could be anything such as, a human and a fish. It is sometimes believed that the better person you are the "better" living creature you will be born into, such as, an ant to a slave, and a slave to a king. This also hasn't been proven.
- Judgement and barzakh: This iz believed by many Muslims where all the dead bodies will rise at the "last" day and will be judged by the gods if they ascend to heaven or hell. It is believed if your good sins outweigh your bad sins you go to heaven and the opposite for hell.
- Atheists belief: Atheists believed that once you die, your soul is gone. There is no afterlife and you cease to exist.
- The Spirits: It is believed that after you die, you turn into a spiritual being while wondering around the earth while obtaining knowledge and practicing good moral acts.
