The prequel to Dan Brown's world renowned novel The Da Vinci Code deserves its credit before the impending movie is released. Certainly worth your time reading the book, mostly because it should only take a few hours to read.

"Parvana" paints a graphic picture of life in Afghanistan under Taliban Rule. The reader follows Parvana, the main character, as she sees all around her, torture, beating, lack of freedom and free speech.

There are a number of reasons why The Name of the Game by David Hill is worth reading. These are that it shows the reader different sides to the tour, it gives actual facts on what happened under the apartheid regime in South Africa and that it gives insight into the impact that the tour had on New Zealand society. Each of these reasons will be explained in detail below.
