Today, I was reading the Perspective Section of the Sunday paper. I thought that newspaper reporting had disappeared but it is they are just reporting after the facts.
The reporter had a story on unemployment and inflation, the real numbers. I was affected by the story twice (unemployment and SSI), like a lot of people in this country. The article stated from the Kennedy administration through and including the Clinton administration that numbers have been fixed to make each administration look good while the average citizen was lied to, deprived of and cheated out of what was honestly theirs.
The facts told by each administration and carried over by each administration affected the citizens that needed it, supported it and believed in it the most. The people of this country are miss-informed everyday by the government, for the government and not for the people who believe in it.
Each administration caused false information to be reported to save money or save face of the administration that was in office at the time. They did not think about the affect it would have on the people that would feel it the most, unemployed and retired citizens.
The tax rebate is the next step in this long procession toward the fleecing of the American citizen. Tell me the rebate is going to save your financial life or pay a bill that will have a saving affect that will last as long as it will take to pay back the loan for the gift (tax rebate) from the government.
I know the chooses are not the best this country has to offer for the office of the President of the United States of American, but it is the best money can buy. So please remember when you pull that lever in the voting booth, “Who out of the chooses present on the ballot will best serve this country and it's citizen”, before you pull that lever think.
The facts that sparked this story are the unemployment and inflation numbers and how the administrations have played with the true information on those two subjects. You can search for information on the Internet that explains how this is, and will affect our way of life in America.
Maybe if the government spends the money where it should spend it, we would not have money to start war.
God bless America.
