Some of us can perhaps turn a blind eye; ignore damage to the planet because it is not immediately in our back yard. Recent sad news tells that the Yangtze Dolphin is now extinct due to pollution - one wonders what is next.

In reducing risk to the planet and to ensure the safety of your children and your grandchildren, start looking at yourself and what you are willing to buy and from which sources. No point in crying "but this doesn"t involve me' - it does. You have more power as a consumer than you can ever imagine - use it and refuse to buy from cheap or dubious sources.
