There are most likely even already today Middle-Class-Poor in the USA who are trying to organize themselves into functioning and effective groups, with rights and duties, with rewards and discipline, but it would probably be only the beginning of what could be a very long process. The USA is a young nation, only 200 years old, which is very young compared to Europe, and extremely young in comparison to Asian entities like China and India: the USA has still a lot to learn, to experiment, and, quite sadly, to fail.
Additionally, the USA was formed by odd immigrants, by irrational religious travelers, and by poverty-stricken illiterate farmers, with a very narrow, if any, appreciation for cultural values or intellectual abilities: this historic trait is pervasive, and the USA is now paying the price for a weak start, and it will take quite some time to pay that price.
At any rate, and by all means, the top 20% is going to try to preserve its privileges, and to prevent progress, any progress. And progress might very well unfold as a battle between secret societies, or even as an open conflict, if and when the rules of economics, and the impact of starvation, become too hard for the Middle-Class-Poor.
The USA Middle-Class-Poor, who make up the other 80% of the USA population, at present live at an animal-like intellectual status, in mortgaged houses, filled with beer, kids and pets, rushing from chore to chore, and wasting any spare time granted to them by their employers in mindless or violent endeavors, perpetuating genetic deficiencies, autism, and poor education.
These Middle-Class-Poor will find their organizers among them, and will find a structure, and will initiate a dialog, or a diatribe, and they will eventually gradually lift themselves out of the bare survival mode of their current existential ditch
A real Middle-Class will by then have emerged, and those same ones who now are by some considered to be the problem, will in the future probably become the very solution.
