The Cost of Being Broke

The downfall effect of credit score to our nation.

Have you noticed how much expensive it is to be broke these days? Why is life now defined by a persons credit score instead of their character? Three companies that have no personal relationship with you determine the course your life will take. Their reports about you determine interest rates, insurance costs, even if you would make a suitable employee. How could charging twenty percent or more make a person more likely to pay their debts? What does paying your bills have to do with the way you drive a vehicle? What does making payments on time have to do at all with showing up to work and doing the job in front of you?

Character is no longer a necessary trait to succeed in today's world. A man's word means absolutely nothing if their credit score is sub-par, as determined by the gorilla math of the three Goliaths. One small mistake on the side of the holy trinity of credit can hamper your ability to drive a decent vehicle, live in the home you deserve, get the job you are more qualified to do than the person hired, or even have utilities turned on without an ungodly deposit being required!

Having something removed from a credit report can be harder and take more time than going to med school. People are now identified by three numbers. Why should the general public be treated as prisoners of a credit system that has no viable checks and balances? Have we, as the most intelligent creatures on earth, forgot that good and bad are determined by the treatment of the things around you! Is it safe to give so much power, unchecked, to any one opinion maker?

Missing the days when a handshake or a good deed meant more about a person than a number assigned to them by the socialist dictators of the credit world!

Like your piece. In the old days, bank managers, corrupt though they may possibly have been on occasion, at least listened to the customer. Now they just shift mroe product and misery with faceless effort.
