A Plea for Educational Solidarity

Growing up in the city, I've experienced the forced and strained relationship between teachers and students. Trying to understand and help extinguish this oddity, this work was written.

Trying to Encourage the Re-establishment of the Teacher-Student Dynamic

Are today's educators drawing the line of education too close to society's edge, pushing students into its waiting abyss? Are those whom are being educated willing crossing the line between scholarship and idiotic demise, and by jumping carelessly into the bottomless pit of life do they adamantly comply with its promise of spiritual, mental, intellectual, and economical death?

Motivating the Educated

As the educated, we have to be more motivated in our academic studies and social preparation. It's time that we cross over the line that separates maturity from immaturity; and care more about education and those whom were entrusted with the job of educating us. We need to begin to value and execute the very actions of our constitutional rights; pursuing life, liberty and happiness.

Also, don't be scared to transcend and go beyond your given limitations. If you believe that you are worthy to receive and achieve, you act according to that belief. In the same token, we should not be embarrassed, lazy or fearful when challenging the minds of those whom educate us. By demanding more, they have to work more, and by them working more, they in turn will demand more from us. You see, there is a system to how we encourage and educate one another. A dynamic partnership, if you will. We all must be opened to this form of education if we really want the severed ties that had once united the educators with the educated to be properly re-affixed.

Motivating the Educators

As educators, the need to prepare the youth for an entitled inheritance of success should be among your top priorities. The desire to elevate a feeble mind to unimaginable heights is a passion unlike what is normal. Such a passion pushes you to challenge those young minds as well as, ignites you to enlighten the path down the road of erudition. Such a drive just might ensure the success of social, academic, and economical proficiency in the futures of those young minds.

In addition, it is highly important that the young minds be taken seriously and respected like the individual units that they are. Comprising the young intellect with that of your own will help broaden point of views and establish a profound level of respect and appreciation amongst the educator and educated, alike. The opinion of the student population has to be taken into consideration during the education process, so that you and the students can communicate and the students' perception of a particular subject can be properly evaluated.

Appreciation Initiates Unity

Moreover, a foundation of unity needs to be surfaced within the walls of any educational institution. We are not enemies we are sworn partners for life. What is taught and what is learned will result in a lesson that will set a life on its path to prosperity. Being educated is a grand and honorable experience to endure, and those who have spent their lives mastering the craft of educating for our benefit should be acknowledged and paid, in its entirety, the homage deserved to them. Just the same, those who are willingly stepping on the building blocks of education should be paid respect and recognized as well.
