So you are going for an interview and you have real life experience in the field you are trying too get work in, in fact you have many years of real life experience in the field you are applying for, but not work experience in the field or you do not posses a associate, bachelors or masters in the field of your choice. So you go for the interview and they completely tell you in a nice way that you don’t posses a degree and you are not hired and they also disregarded your real life experience. Now say you have no real life experience or work experience in the field but you do have a degree, and you get hired. So who knows more than, the person with a degree and no work or real life experience in the field they are applying for or the person with no degree but many years of real life experience in the field they are applying for? Guess it’s 50/50 because sometimes college is the way too go or simply starting from the bottom and getting hands on experience is the way too go.
It all depends on what kind of work you are trying too get into. There is some work that a degree is defiantly needed but than there are others that are better taught with hands on.
