To clasp the scales in balance both liberal and technical education is indispensable.
Education should be technical together with liberal to train the youth for practical life. In Pakistani society we are educated only how to survive and emphasis is laid on liberal education. Manual work should be commenced in our institutions so that on departing the college, students may not catch frustration and perceive their way hard in practical world. To get to the bottom of the problem of unemployment they should professionally, proficiently, and competently be trained and educated.Technical /Manual work embraces trade and handicraft. Technical Education is inevitable to offer training in dexterity that have a practical and sensible efficacy. It does not expand the spiritual, moral, intellectual and cultural outlook of a personality but aims at instruction and training to turn out skilled and competent human resources.
What are the grounds of the success and prosperity of foreign countries? They give value to technical education. Likewise, the fortune of our nation depends on technical education.
Technical Education is not merely required but also the only response to the mounting educational problems. It produces workforce and people who put together factual contribution to the welfare and well-being of society. Logically, society must honour them and compensate them with improved remuneration. We should appreciate the call for technical education. There are a handful of institutions which impart technical education. More and more institutions should be established if we wish for our country to progress and prosper.
We have not esteemed the varying circumstances. Our young men still yearn for staff work. They hesitate to gain knowledge of practical skills. They must shack their discrimination against manual work. Society must also show reverence to them who toil hard with their hands for its material welfare and happiness.
