You can also save time and not waste other student's time, for example if you have to use the restroom in a normal school environment, it is common courtesy to notify your instructor and leave. In an online environment you can just get up and go. You can save money on food and drink if it's already in your house rather than buying lunch at school.

Online schooling requires more discipline because it is easier to skip and just not do anything online than it is in a physical school.
