High School

High school should teach real classes on life outside of school.

We've all heard the saying that high school is supposed to prepare you for life. I don't think it does. The classes that you take in high school are just advanced classes that you've taken all your life.

Most commonly the classes are English, math, science and others. I got out of high school and taking math sure didn't help me to balance a check book or understand that checks take time to clear.

They should offer classes on how to balance a check book, understanding credit card interest rates, budget plans and more adult day to day life skills that would help in understanding how the real world works. The only thing high school got me used to was spending eight hours a day in a building like I would at work.
