I do think that I have some wonderful “philosophies” about education. Educating is to make us obedient and loyal to our country, which shows that it emancipates our mind with locks, though it may be necessary. This is one of them.
Also, education is a machine to processing the soul of human. We are parts of the giant machine of a society, and we are processed by education to fit in it. Otherwise, we will have no place to be placed to. That is, we will have no job if we cannot be fit in the giant machine. Education works.
Actually, most of us are educated, and even God is afraid of this kind of weapon of soul. God doesn't allow human beings to have knowledge, and he told Edam and Eve not to eat the fruits on the tree. However, they did. Now, education spreads all around the world, and human beings can send out spacecrafts to explore the universe. I don't know if this makes God happy.
I was told that “be careful to leave your sons well instructed rather than rich, for the hopes of the instructed are better than the wealth of the ignorant.” Education is very important. However, I have this kind of doubt: is education a tool to help us to make money? My reason is that when we have a good education, we will have more chances to earn money to make a good living. Though there are persons who are not well educated can make a lot of money, most of the rich persons have shown that the training and education is very important for them to make money.
Education now still has color glasses on. If I were a native of UK, I would be taught to love UK and protect the interests of UK; if I were a native of Iran, I would be taught to love Iran and protect the interests of Iran. I think that it is the high time that that we should make the idea of “the citizen of the world” into the mind of every one on this planet, to make it a better world for all of us to live in. Even animals have their rights to enjoy peace, not to mention human beings. All of us are the sons and daughters of God, and we are created equal.
Education should go on a way of reform now to be suitable for the idea I mentioned above. Do you agree with me?
